I Was Born on 9/11 is the debut EP by Maxine. Recorded in April 2020 when she was 7 months old, these organ recordings explore family, fashion, isolation, and new emotions. Maxine played these songs on a mid-century Conn organ routed through dad's effects pedals. Due to the improvisational composition of these songs, this record rewards multiple listens. Headphones highly recommended.
